HS: Auburn High School, urban, about 60% went to college
Parents: They wanted me to go college and I did not really have any other options
Community: They would rather prefer me go to UAB or a bigger school like that tan Montevallo
Hear About UM?: My brother went to school here and he said I should follow suit
Major: I came in as a Theatre Major, but I picked up a Biology minor
Fears: Not being accepted, I'm a republican so that could be worrisome as well
Dates: I arrived on campus August 2017
First Day: I met my future girlfriend who I'm engaged to so that's nice
Classes: My favorite class I've ever taken in POS 200 with Eckleman
Clubs: College Republicans as well as URGE
Residence: Lived in Lund my first 2 years then I got an apartment
GV or PV: PV and I came out of my 4 years here with only one victory but it meant so much to get it
Impact: College has done so much for me and Montevallo has been my home for 4 years, I ready to see what is in store but I gonna miss the fun times here.
Future: Graduate and get my happy-ass out of here!

MN: This interview went alright, he had to go to rehearsal so it couldn't have been too long, but he gave me some good information nonetheless. This was the first senior I interviewed so It was interesting getting these questions from his point of view. He also went to the same high school as me but I didn’t know that until we started talking, so we talked about out time as AHS as well as the interview. The interview was not that great but he was a interesting person to talk to nonetheless.
TN: The interview was cut short, which didn't favor well into why I thought the interview did not go well as it should have, I don't want to fault him for it because he had something to do, but I wish he picked a better time to do the interview than the one he chosen to do. He was a nice guy, but the interview was awkward at times because he seemed anxious about missing rehearsal, So it kinda diluted the interview
PN: I like the guy a lot, he was a really cool dude to listen to and talk to. I was low-key exhausted though (this interview took place at 10PM) so I wanted to get some sleep. I also had to skip dinner because I had so much work to do and I was about to go to McDonalds so I was just waiting for the interview to end so I can finally go get some McDonalds Chicken Nuggets. He also had the use the bathroom during the interview and that also killed the buzz with the Interview.
SN: He is from Auburn High School, a pretty urban school in which about 60% went to school. His parents wanted him to go to college, but his community preferred if him go to UAB or another state schools. He heard about UM because his brother went there and suggested him go there as well. He is a Theatre Major and he picked up a Biology minor, he fears for being accepted and also that he is a Republican going to a liberal school. He arrived on campus on August 2014. His favorite non-major class that he takes is Dr. Eckleman Political Science 200. He is a member of college Republicans as well as URGE. He lived at Lund for 2 years before going to live an apartment. He is PV, and even though they have only won 1 year out for 4 but he's proud of his time. He is ready to graduate but he doesn't want to forget the great times at Montevallo.

<text>HS: Alma Bryant: Rural School out in the words, 25% go to college
Why go to school: I had no idea what I wanted to do, but I know I wanted to go to school for me
Parents: Mom supported me, family supported me completely
Hear about UM: Theatre Competition, we all toured the school and everything
Why decided UM: Small classrooms and I'll get to know my professors
Fears: Having to meet and become friends with new people
Arrive?: August 2016
First Day: Didn't feel much different from high school, struggled to talk to new people
Clubs: Anime Club, my Purple Dad is the president
GV or PV: PV
Purple Family: Really is a support system, they been here so they are able to show you the ropes
Major: Mass Communication
Residence?: Napier, I feel like the best way to experience college is to live on campus
College Night: Support your friends and family and your side
Dropping/Transfer: Absolutely, I feel like people will always be a better student than me
Cafeteria: It is just decent, I've had worse
Favorite Moment: Some of the night in the Pit
Pit? Hangout spot where all of the smokers go and smoke
Impact: I've learned and grown a lot while at Montevallo
Future: Being comfortable, being in a place that I feel content

MN: Even though I was interviewing another friend of mine this one went a lot smoother. I think he was more invested in the project and therefore cared a lot more about the flow of the interview. The interview was quite good and I've been able to add new questions to the interview schedule as time as gone on, which is a very good sign. This was also my longest interview on record, which was a very happy sight to behcold.
TN : I think this interview went so well because I was able to ask new questions about him life and he responded well to them. They were out of left field and he was not expecting them which gave me more time for a thoughtful answer and that made the interview much more wonderful as well. He was also much more invested in the interview than before, so it was a lot easier to get good answers out of him about he was staying engaged
PN: This guy is one of my best friends and he really came through to me with this interview. He really enjoyed the experience and he wants to see my final paper when I'm done with it. I had done with interview back to back with the previous one, and the difference is how it went was awe-aspiring
SN: He went to Alma Bryant High School, a very small school in which only about 25% go to college. He wanted to go to college from himself and his parents fully supported that decision. He visited Montevallo through a theater competition and he loved the small class sizes and getting to know your professors at Montevallo. His fear was having to adjust to a whole new group of people. He arrived on campus on August 2016, and he struggled to adjust to new life on campus. But he found a home on the PV and with a purple family to support him. He is a mass com major and even though sometimes he thinks about dropping out he knows he wants to stick with it. He lives on campus because it is the best way to expierence college and he enjoys hanging out in the pit, where all the smokers smoke. Montevallo had made me a better man and more mature and he is excited about the future and finding piece in his life. </text>

              <text>HS: Clay-Chockville 9th-10th, Homeshool 11th-12th, about 40% went to college
Parents: Mom and Dad wanted me to go to college because they never could
Community: Half my friends are in school, half my friends work, friends tried to convince me to not go to school
Hear about UM: My buddy Cameron, we've been friends since we were 6 years old, he goes to Montevallo and told me about it
Major: Enviromental Studies
Fears: Crippling debt, being in a new place and having to make new friends
Arrive?: August 2017
First Day: A little anxious
Calming Presence: When I made a social circle of familiar faces
Classes: Classes have been good, dropped 2 classes already
Residence: I live in Napier, but I'm hoping to get an apartment this summer
Clubs: Not right now, thinking about joining chess club
PV or GV: PV, more my speed
Transfer or Dropping Out: Dropping out was on the table after my first semester, but a talked to my mom and realized it would have been a bad idea
Caf: Most of the time it's good, but I've gotten sick from it
Favorite Moment: Don’t' have a favorite, each day is something new
Quirky: I've embraced it
Impact: I've gotten more responsible
Future: Spending more time with my pals and enjoying the last part of my life before I must get serious

MN: This interview was with one of my best friends on campus, so most of the things I asked about in this interview I already knew about him. That made the interview a little difficult at times for both of us because he was just repeating information that he already told me in the past. Nevertheless, I had to act like in the interview that I'd never seen this man in my life. I was able to add new questions to my interview schedule, and he responded well to them, which was a very good sign.
TN: My theory on why this interview was not as great as it could have been Is that I knew too much about him already. If it was a casual friend it would have been easier, but because he was one of my best friends I struggled mightily to find questions that I could ask him that I could get new answers that I didn’t know about him to lively up this interview. He also was not invested all the way in the interview as we were having a very stressful week of tests and projects so he was trying to finish this as fast as he could
PN: I love this guy to death, but sometimes he can get on my last nerves. He promised to do the interview with me but then he tells me to hurry up with because he has to be somewhere in 30 minutes. So, my question is obviously why you are trying to be interviewed when you clearly did not have the time to be interviewed. I was also dealing with a headache at this point in the day, so my temper was really short to begin with.
SN: He is from Clay-Chockville High School, as well as being homeschooled later in this schooling career. He wanted to go to college because he parents never could, and he yielded advice from his friends when they told him to stay. He decided to go to Montevallo because his buddy Cameron told him about it. He is an environmental science major, and his concerns about going to school dealt with debt and how we would have to meet a bunch of new people. He arrived on campus August 2017 and he said he was anxious the first day. He really found his calling though when he found a friend group. He wants to join the Chess Club and he is a die-hard PV. He lives in Napier, but he wants to get an apartment over the summer. He only considered dropping out once but his mom talked him out of it, and he had decided to embrace that and the quirkiness of the school, he has enjoyed his time here, and is looking forward to enjoying the last part of his life before he has to get serious. </text>

<text>HS: Central High School, Rural School, only about 30% went to college
Parents: They actually did not expect me to go to college
First hear about UM: When I was on Instagram and I saw an advertisement
Community Outlook: My community wanted me to try to stay at my current job, which was McDonalds and work my way up that way, but I could not live my life like that
UM First Choice: It was my only choice actually, I didn't look at another school
Major?: I came in as a Chemistry Major
Fears about College: I didn't know If I had the motivation to survive and thrive in college.
Arrived at UM: I arrived August 2015
First Day: I only missed 2 out of my 3 classes for being late so that’s a good sign
Classes: I really enjoyed Dr. Mahaffey Eng 101 class my freshman year of school
Clubs: I'm not a member of any clubs, but I'm hoping to become a member of the Minority Student Union this semester
PV or GV: GV and I'm 2-1 while being a Montevallo and I hope to add another win next year
Housing?: I live in Lund but I'm hoping to get an apartment during the summer
Donald Trump being elected: Everyone was day drinking, I mean everyone
Favorite Moment: GV during my sophomore year, I'd never jumped so much in my life
Impact: Montevallo has made me a better man and I'm so happy a chose to go to college and Montevallo

MN: So this week I was really busy with recruitment so I only had time to interview my friends. This is the oldest friend I interviewed, and he was quite a delight to interview as well. Even though I knew a lot about him he still took the time to answer all of questions thoroughly and in detail, and he was able to suggest questions that I should ask other people as well that I interview, hence where the Donald Trump question came into play. It was a great interview and even though they were a friend it didn’t ruin the integrity of the interview.
TN: I think the interview went so well because I had a level of trust in him that even if I was struggling or a bit nervous the interview will still go well, and that’s a trust that you cannot get from a stranger, I also really appreciated him giving me suggestions about questions to ask other people, and that’s particularly when it comes down to interview alumni who are gonna be complete strangers
PN: So this was one of my friends and we were about having really stressful and nerve racking weeks, so I appreciate that this interview was calm, cool, and collected. I was extremely hungry during this interview about it had taken place at 11am and I had not had the time to grab any food that day, so I was absolutely starving. Also, the date was 3 days away so was stressed and thinking about that, so I was not as focused on the interview at times than maybe I should be.
SN: He is from Central High School, a school that is rural in which not many kids go off to college. His parents were honestly shocked that he went to college, and the community thought he was gonna stay and keep working at McDonalds, but he had higher aspirations for himself. He first heard about Montevallo through Instagram and he's been hooked ever since, as this was the only choice he had of school. He is a Chemistry Major, and his only real concern was keeping himself Motivation. He arrived at school in August 2015 and he only missed 2 classes his first day. He really enjoyed Dr. Mahaffrey ENG 101 class his freshman year, and he wants to be a part of the Minority Student Union. He is a GV through and through, and that’s been really good for him. He also lives Lund but wants to get an apartment this summer. He said that during the Donald Trump election everyone was drunk and day-drinking. He thinks Montevallo has made the biggest impact when it comes to making him the person he is today. </text>

              <text> HS: Moretimer, Decent Size
2. Parents: Didn't have an option: college or bust
3. Community: Not a ton went to school
4. First Choice: Considered South Alabama but wasn't ready for a 4 Year, so I went to Faulkner
5. Major: Nursing originally while at Faulkner
6. Fears: No major fears about going to school, I was excited about leavng the home
7. First Day in College? It was going to 13th and 14th grade
8. Any Friends: My best friend was my roommate at Faulkner
9. Considered going to UM: Took a year off, best friend dragged me to a campus tour, and I fell in love
10. Parents about UM: Mom was very happy for me, Dad not so much
11. Change in Major: I went from Nursing to Early Ed, I really wanted to work with kids
12. First Day: It was so different than Faulkner
13. Transfer Orientation: Meet a lot of people in my major, It was a lot of fun
14. Moment you belonged: Bid Day, when I cried like a baby.
       15. Living on Campus: I love it, I hope to live on my hall next semester
Clubs: Exercise Science Club and Chi Omega
College Night: Definingly a Purple
Downer Moment: Finals Week, I was stressed and ready to go home for the semester
Impact: It's made me a more open person, I've made far more connections than I thought

MN: This interview went fantastic, and it was personally fantastic for me (we will get to that later). She was engaged, I was able to ask good questions based off what she had said already. I was able to tap into a section of questions that I hadn’t really had to use before and that was dealing with transfer student because she originally went to a junior college. She also decided to take a year off, so she had a full 3 years before she even got to Montevallo so there was a lot already to tap into with her before she even stepped on campus.
TN: She actually had taken Sociology 101 with me before this interview. So, she was already very intrigued about the project and she was eager to participate in it. We had talked beforehand about all the different parts of the interview and what the questions would entail, so she went into this interview having a 100% understanding about what's to come. I'd also knew her beforehand and talked to her quite a bit, so this was not like it was the first time we'd spoken and there was going to be that awkward barrier between each other.
PN: So I had a crush on her throughout Sociology last semester and my thought was "Hey maybe I can get to know her more by interviewing her". She said yes to the interview so if I realized we had a lot in common it would be easier to see if I could ask her on a date. So, the interview went really well and I found out we had a lot in common. After the interview we continued to talk for about 1 ½ more hours, and I finally got the courage to ask her on a date to the Tavern, in which she replied yes. This interview rocked for many reasons.
SN: She is from Moretimer High School in Georgia, it a decent sized school. Her parents always said it had to be college, but she didn't think she was ready for a 4-year University, so she enrolled in Faulker University for nursing. She had no fears about going to college but stated that she didn’t like her time while at Faulkner, comparing it to an extension of high school. She decided to take a year off of college while decided where she wanted to go next, but her best friend and roommate at Faulkner dragged her to a tour at Montevallo and she fell in love with the place. Her Mom was very excited with her going to Montevallo while her dad was not. She switched her major to Early Ed when she arrived at Montevallo. She is involved in the Exercise Science Club at Montevallo as well as in Chi Omega. One of her happiest days on campus was seeing that she and her best friend got a bid to the same sorority. She lives in Hanson and hopes to move on the hall next semester. Even though she's been stressed out by classes and finals, she is still hopeful for what the future brings at Montevallo. </text>

<text>HS: I went to Prattville High School, urban school, about 60% go to college
Parents: My parents both went to college, so they assumed I would too
Connections to UM: One of my older friends goes to school here
Community Outlook: They assumed I would be going to Auburn, they were disappointed to find out I was going somewhere else.
Major?: I went into school undeclared
Fears?: Being in my own and knowing I'd had to work hard to keep my scholarship
First Day: It was okay I guess, I fell on my ass outside of the SAC
Classes: I really enjoyed Dr. Sterner's Nature of Mathematics class, it is making me consider being a math major.
Clubs: I'm in Spectrum as all as Young Democrats
Where do you live? I live on Lund right outside the Chi Omega hall, I'm considering moving over to Napier next year though.
Major? I'm still undecided but I think I'm going to be a Math major
PV or GV: I'm PV, I'm still pissed off that we lost last weekend
Favorite Moment? The Life Raft debate, is it just a bunch of teachers roasting each other.
Quirky School: I love how quirky this school is, it makes it a lot more fun be here
Impact: It's helped me grow into the young man I am today

MN: This interview was run-of-the-mill. The questions I asked her my basic set because even though we had 45 minutes to spend on this interview, he spent 10 minutes in the bathroom and another 5 getting Moes. I got some really good content I think for the interview. As it was this interview in which I decided I wanted to talk more about the quirkier sides on the school, and why it is Alabama's gay school. Ironically, he was also a gay man, and he seemed to cherish that this school had that title.
TN: The interview could have been better if he was present for all of it, but I still think it ran smoothly. These interviews are seeing to click better with the quirkier students I've interviewed. I go back to the interview with the now openly gay man at Montevallo and how he went on a long rant about his quirky self and how he enjoys a school that as the same outlook at he does. This interview was no different. By far the best answers I got were from when he was discussing how this school fits his personality. I think that's where I want to tap into throughout this process.
PN: He got up to do something else so many times it got on my last nerves. Like man you agreed to do this interview with me, but you spent 1/3 of the time not letting yourself get interviewed. He was a nice guy but that was incredibly annoying and brought added stress to my day that I did not need. On top of that, I was already hungry and someone eating's Moes in front of my face when I was already out of flex points and didn't have the money to get the Moes was annoying.
SN: He went to Prattville High School, which is an urban school in which about 70% of students go to college. It was always expected on him to go to school by his parents, and many in the community thought he was going to go to Auburn. He has an older friend that came here, and that was how originally, he heard about Montevallo. He's undecided currently but he's considering being a math major. He big fears about coming to college involved being way from home and knowing that he was having to work hard to maintain his scholarships. He said his first day of classes were alright, but he fell a lot. He really enjoyed Dr. Strener's Nature of Mathematics class, which has helped decide what he wants to do. He is involved in College Democrats and Spectrum and is a diehard PV. He's embraced the quirky style of the school. The biggest impact this school has had is help him become the young man he is today. </text>

<text>HS: Thomspon High School, medium sized school, about 55% go to college
Hear about UM: On Instagram funny enough
Parents Impact: They let me have to freedom to do what I wanted after high school
Reason for UM: Really good Theater program
Community Impact: My pastor told me to follow my heart to UM
First Choice: For a little while it was South Alabama, but I soon realize Montevallo was my home
Any Fears: Being a closeted gay man and going off on my own was scary.
Dates Attended: I came to school August 2017
First Day: I fell on the grass and kind of just laid there for a while
Classes: Dr. Rozelle's English class was actually my favorite non-theater course
Clubs: Spectrum but that's about it
Where do you live?: I live in Napier and it's a madhouse obviously
GV or PV: PV and I really think we are gonna win this year (We didn't)
Looking forward to in the future: Enjoying my time as a college student and learning all these new and different things

MN: This was the interview I've been waiting for, it was engaging, interesting, and he really was interesting in the information that I needed from him. He was such a pleasant person to talk to so I didn’t feel like I was having to extract answers from him. He had a really good story to tell when it came to before he came to Montevallo, being a gay man but still being expected to go to church every Sunday. That's why he felt the need to keep it a secret from everybody else.
TN: Why did this interview go so well? Because when both parties are looking to be engaged and responsive it makes the entire process go a lot smoother and be a lot of fun. It was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life when it came to interview at any level. Even though the questions were pretty much the same as the other interviews (all these interviews were done on the same day). He also was very excited about telling me the process of him being an open gay man in college
PN: This interview took place in the caf so it was kind of a loud venue. He was an utter delight to interview though so that part of the interview went along swimmingly. I was eating a burger while trying to give the interview (I had to skip lunch) so I wasn't focused all the way on the interview as I could have been. Never the less it was a very entertaining time and I hope all my future interviews are on that level.
SN: Went to Thomspon High School and it was your pretty typical high school in Alabama, about half the kids ended up going to college. He heard about Montevallo through Instagram and from that point on he knew he wanted to get his theater degree from Montevallo. His parents gave him a lot of leeway and it came to him deciding where we wanted to go to school. His pastor encourages him to go to Montevallo, even though he was afraid about being so far from home and how being a closeted gay man would shape his college lifestyle. His first day of school and classes were great and he especially loved Dr. Rozelle English class. He lives in Napier and he apart of the Spectrum club here at Montevallo. He is a PV, so he had a pretty bad Saturday. He is most looking forward to spending his undergraduate here and just having a good time. </text>

<text>HS: I went to Enterprise High School, large school, most of the people I know went to college
How you hear about Montevallo: I was looking at colleges in Alabama and I stumbled on to Montevallo and I found out I really liked it
Major: Coming in I wanted to be an Marketing Major
Parents Impact: It was always college for me, didn't have another option
First Choice: Montevallo has always been my one and only choice
Any Fears: I'm gonna be a little bit far from home, so I don't know how that will go
Dates: I got here August 2015
First Day: It was amazing, I made so many friends that day
First Day of classes: Good, I even though I'm a business major, I really enjoyed my theatre course.
Where do you live?: I live in Tutwiler
Any clubs: I'm in "I am second" which is a Christian club about putting god first
PV or GV: I'm GV and we are going to win this weekend (again)
Best moment on campus so far: The lift raft debate, to see teachers roasting each other were very exciting
Most looking forward to? I'm looking forward to graduating because I'm so close!

MN: This interview did not go as well as I planned. She wasn't very interested in the interview at all so I tried to make it go as quick as possible to make it be as painless as it can be for the both of us. The interview questions were boring and mundane, but she was giving good answers partly because she wanted the interview to be done as soon as possible. I wish there was more to take away from this interview, but I was not given a lot of content to work with.
TN: My theory on how the interview went is that it went bad. Very bad. I tried to keep an upbeat attitude about the interview because I know that would help the interview go along faster and that at least I could salvage some content about the interview. One interesting thing I learned is that people don’t generally have a lot of say about clubs unless that have been involved in it for a very long time. When I asked her about the clubs she was involved in "I am second" all she could tell me about it is that it's about god.
PN: The person who I interviewed is by far the worst person I've interviewed. She was only focused on her phone and texting her boyfriend, so she was giving me half-assed answers. If she wasn't willing to put in the effort with the interview, it was hard for me to give a damn as well. It was also the middle of the day on Friday, so I was feeling that mid-day malaise, so I was trying really hard to get things done but my mind was focused on getting lunch, something that I had not done beforehand.
SN: She went to Enterprise high school and it's one of the biggest schools in the state. She heard about Montevallo through looking at school in Alabama and from that point she was hooked. She's a marketing major. Her parents have always told her college or bust, and there is no in-between about what her life would look like right after high school. Her main fear in coming to Montevallo is that she would be so far from home and that she would have to look after herself. But once she got on campus she loved it. She loved her first day on campus as well as her first day of classes because she signed up for Theater courses. She lives in Tutweiler and She involved in the club "I am second" which is a club about god. She is a Gold, she's had a really good couple of years, and she's looking forward to finally getting out of college.

Why did you come to UM: I loved the campus, the bricks really helped the flow of the campus.
What was the final factor: When I saw college night, the performances were beautiful
Any Fears: I had never been on my own for a long stretch of time
Dates: I came on campus August 2016
First Day on Campus: I was focused on making new friends and no falling
Classes: I really enjoyed Mr. Newell Social Work class
Any Clubs: I am apart of Spectrum as well as Social Work club
PV or GV: PV and I'm extremely annoyed right now
Where do you live?: I live off-campus with my boyfriend
What are you looking forward to in the future?: Graduating and starting my career

MN: As I've continued to do these interviews I've realized a few things. 1) That I need to start asking more hard-hitting questions, and 2) That people seem to respond better if you ask them deeper and more developing questions. That was the case today, when the questions were hard hitting, and they touched into a part of the college experience that they weren't expecting, the answers were deeper, and I could get more material out with them
TN: The interview was one of my middle of the pack ones, I quite enjoyed it the interview in its entirely, but there were point during the interview that it was clearly lacking. I wish I had more interesting questions in there about before they got to Montevallo, as that is where I'm having the most issues when it comes to the before Montevallo questions, as most people don't see to enjoy those as much, I'm hoping to find out why.
PN: So this interview took place at 8:30am on Friday, so I was a little bit exhausted when it came to my physical health. This interview also took place at a McDonalds, in which a nice old man was very talkative and was inquiring about why I was interview this person. It was a nice exchange, but it certainly set the interview astray. `
SN: She is from Selma High School, which is a small high school in Selma, Alabama in which not many people go to college. She heard about Montevallo through watching YouTube and she researched about the school. She went into school as a political science major, but she then changed over to social work major. She wanted to go to Auburn, but she fell in love with the campus, especially during college night. She came to campus August 2016 and she had a good first day here. She really enjoyed Dr. Newell social work class. Sje is involved in college night and she's a PV (which it is a depressing time for us). She used to live in Hanson, but now she lives off-campus with her boyfriend. She is excited for the future in graduating and starting her career. </text>

              <text>Interview 1

HS: Opelika High School, Suburban School, 55% go to college
Connections to UM: My mom went to UM in the 1980s, my mom best friend she met at UM
Thoughts about college: Parents always wanted me to go, there was not another option
How did you hear about Montevallo? My mom
Declared Major?: Business Marketing
Any fears about coming to Montevallo?: Being so far away from my parents
How was your first day: It was great, I only fell on the bricks 3 times!
Where do you live? I live in Main Hall, I quite like it but it gets really loud sometimes
Any clubs? I'm in Spectrum and College Democrats
PV or GV: I hate to break it to you man, but I'm GV
Do you wanna be involved in college night?: I hope to be on the Volleyball team next year
Favorite Class?: Even though I'm a marketing major, I really enjoyed Dr. Rozelle English 101 class
Impact: Montevallo has made me into a strong independent woman and I want to continue that for the next 3 years

Mnotes: This interview was another one that I really enjoyed. I took everything that I learned from the first few ones (the good and bad) and tried to turn it into a very rewarding experience. She was also a gracious interviewee and she made me feel relaxed and more like it was a conversation and not be interview. I wish I had to ask her more questions but unfortenanly she had class in 35 minutes so I decided to stick with the most important ones. Despite this shortcoming, I'd definitely call the interview a success.
TNotes: My theory on why the interview went so well is that she was very engaging interview. She was incredibly thoughtful and she gave me very good answers with her questions and I was able to ask her follow up questions about her answers. We were also in a very que space and we weren't having to deal with any outside noise. I also knew her beforehand and even though that has backfired in a couple of earlier situations it was not a cocern here.
PNotes: We were in the library so it was a very quiet spot and we weren't bothered. I had also just had a great meal at the one and only Taco Bell so I was feeling pretty good about my life when I was giving that interview so all went well. We were on very comfortable couches and as well as in a nice air-conditioned spot. I had just gotten my flu shot that day so I was feeling a tad strange in my body but it didn't really affect my performance when it came to the interview.
SNotes: We first started talking about what high school she went to, which was Opelika High School in Opelika, Alabama. It's a suburban school but onlt about 55% of students there end up going to college. She heard about Montevallo through her mom, who went there, and her mom's best friend who she met at Montevallo. Her parents always envisioned her going to school and she decided to be a major in marketing. Her fear about Montevallo was being so far away from home. She said her first day was great because she only fell on the bricks 3 times. She lives in Main Hall and she quite enjoys it there. She participates in Korean Culture Club and College Democrats, and shes a GV (to my dismay). She wants to play for the vollyball team next year. She concluded the interview by stating that Montevallo and turned into into a strong independent women and shes excitied for the years to come. </text>
